Passaddhi's
Accommodation

At present
Passaddhi
consists of a cottage-style house, a chalet and a ‘bunkhouse’. More kuti’s
are planned for the future. On retreats there is space for 10-12 people.
Downstairs
the main house has a fully equipped open-plan kitchen and dining area, a large
south-facing sunroom, bathroom with jacuzzi bath, utility room and double
bedroom. Upstairs is an open-plan attic, which is used as the meditation hall
during retreats, as well as sleeping area for retreatants. A paved patio
surrounds the sunroom, and there is a large garden sheltered by fuchsia and
hawthorn hedges. During retreats the patio is used for walking meditation.

There
is also a self-contained chalet on
site, for rent on a daily basis. This would make an ideal kuti or cabin to do a
solitary retreat or to use as a base for walking or cycling tours in the area.
The chalet sleeps 2, with sofa bed, kitchenette, toilet and shower. Food can be
provided by prior arrangement for those who want to do an intensive meditation
retreat.
The newly built ‘bunkhouse’ has 6 single beds, 2 showers and 2 toilets. The covered veranda can be used as space for walking meditation.
